CCP Fabrication's Lightweight fiberglass Hood for your 944 Turbo. Exact duplicate of the OEM Porsche Ducted Turbo Hood. Hood is built with an inner frame for added strength, but at a fraction of the weight. Weighing in at approximately 16 pounds. Constructed with hand laid 1708 biaxial woven fiberglass, (Very strong, yet light) over a white gelcoat. Mounted areas come with metal threaded inserts for increased durability. Mounting areas are the same as the OEM, no need to purchase additional hood pins and does accept the OEM hood brackets, as well as the latch. For our racing customers, this fiberglass hood will shave weight over your 944 at the race track. Ships ready to be painted. Great for racing or street.
